Hey, if you want to see some new pics of Josiah, head on over to his Flickr page. Here’s one:

Did you know that Josiah can count to ten now? Well, he can. It doesn’t always come out right, though. It’s usually something like, “1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10.” He pretty much consistently misses “5” and “7.” But, it’s a good start. And, we’ve been trying to teach him “11” and “12” too!
He’s talking up a storm these days… A lot of times, it’s pure gibberish. Other times, we’re astounded by his eloquence. It’s pretty fun to watch.
One of the phrases that he hasn’t quite gotten yet is, “Thank you.” He understands the concept, but since we always respond to him with “You’re welcome,” every time we ask him to say thank you, he says, “You’re welcome.” And it seems to be the hardest thing to change.
He really has a great sense of humor too. He likes surprising us. He tries to joke around. He likes to offer us his food and then snatch it away very quickly. Sometimes, his humor get away from him, though, and he just becomes a bad boy. There’s still some learning to be done.
We’re really looking forward to a trip to see Grammy and Poppy in California at the end of March. Josiah will almost be 2-years old. The best thing is that we are going to get to see the entire family! Aside from Grammy and Poppy, Amie, Matt, Acacia, and Harvey will be in town. Plus, we’ll even get to see the IndoSamoffs, who are in town while their Indonesian visas are being renewed! It’s going to be a lot of fun.
