Julianna and Josiah accompanied me up to Minneapolis last weekend. I was coming up for a conference and since our friends Rob and Erica live up here, we thought we’d make a little family trip out of it.
Leaving Kansas City wasn’t the easiest thing in the world. In fact, I don’t know if we’d ever recommend Northwest Airlines to anyone after our check-in experience… It left us rather hagard (well except for Josiah) — and we hadn’t even gotten off of the ground yet!

But, once we were on the plane, and Josiah was able to familiarize himself with all of the saftey procedures, we were on our way!

When we arrived in Minneapolis, we didn’t hesitate to begin our fun-filled weekend…
We rode the lightrail from the airport to Rob and Erica’s.

We saw some sights.

We had some fun at the sculpture park.

We went for a nice walk at the lake.

We rode the bus.

We got to visit Mall of America.

And, so much more!
It was a fun trip and we are so happy that Rob and Erica had the time (and patience) to share part of their week with us.
Now, unfortunately, I’m stuck at the airport in Minneapolis because I forgot to compare my travel notes with the email that Northwest sent me. It is definitely not the best way to end a good week.
