Sheesh! That’s a horrible experience to go through Tim, not to mention having to undergo the social work issues. It sounds like they treated you well though. Unfortunately, that process is necessary, though.
Prayers and blessings to you all and the ‘plasty.

Yeah, pretty horrible. But, you are right… For the most part, we were treated very well.
Thanks, Peder!

I don’t really know what to say other than I am greatful that everyone is ‘back to good’. I can not imagine what all this was like for everyone, God had his hands on all of you for sure.
I wouldn’t have been near as nice and accommodating to the Social Worker, I think I would have at best hurt her feelings + made her cry and at worst threatened her life. Neither are probably a good idea however.

Thanks, Doug… Yeah, it’s hard to know how you’ll respond to anything when you’re in the moment. For us, being scared out of our minds and way past exhausted, there was nothing we could really do but just stare at the world numbly for a little while.

Yes. It’s tough to be in that situation, but the social workers were just doing their job. You’d be surprised how many children are injured “non-accidentally,” if you know what I mean. I see the tell-tale radiographs all too often.
Blessings and a good weekend to you all,
Peder
